BRUSH PLATING
Brush Plating has several advantages over tank plating, including portability, ability to plate items that for some reason cannot be tank plated. The bond strength in brush plating is over double that of tank plating, where tank plating has 6,000 pounds of bond strength per square inch, brush plating has 14,000 pounds per square inch.
CAST IRON WELDING
Metal Surgery uses qualified personnel to perform all welding in the following welding modes: SMAW - Shielded Metal Arc Welding, GTAW - Gas Tungsten Arc Welding, GMAW - Gas Metal Arc Welding, FCAW - Flux Cored Arc Welding, and SAW - Submerged Arc Welding.
METAL STITCHING
When a cast iron component is broken or cracked as a result of misuse or overload, a decision must be made whether to repair or replace the cast iron component. Stitching joins broken cast iron and dissimilar metal to like-new condition. Metal Surgery utilizes expert technicians to perform the repairs on site or in house.
OTHER SERVICES
Metal Surgery also offers: Emergency repairs and maintenance for machine shops or power plants, off shore rigs, and ships. Welding of all metals and alloys - at our facility or yours. Specialized design and fabrication of all parts, fixtures, tools, and structures.
